Sentiance is a sensor technology company founded in 2012 and based in Antwerp, Belgium. The company has a team of 26 and is lead by CEO Toon Vanparys. Over the past period, Sentiance raised substantial capital from both business angels as venture capital funds, with the latest funding round closed as per the end of 2015 driven by Samsung Catalyst Fund.
Sentiance offers real-time Ambient Intelligence automated through a proprietary sensor fusion platform to enterprises, DMPs, SMEs and mobile app developers. The platform empowers companies to build behavioral profiles of connected users and enriching those profiles with personalized, predictive and context-aware services.

The Sentiance platform consists of an easy to use SDK (one-line integration for Android & iOS), an advanced deep profiling engine for robust conversion of raw sensor data into real-time context information (context store) and behavioral profiles based on historical context information (profile store), as well as a self service Sentiance Audience Manager, which creates the possibility to easily define your audience and manage contextual and predictive rules.
Functionalities present in the SDK can be interfaced with, or integrated into, mobile operating systems, embedded systems, MEMS or context-aware computing chipsets. The Sentiance Audience Manager has an open API for integration with any programming language or system.
